Dr. Pani Schutte is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, holding a Master's in Clinical Psychology and a DPhil from Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
With 28 years of experience in both public and private sectors, Pani has expertise in adult mental health, including inpatient and outpatient care, substance rehabilitation, psychogeriatrics, and trauma-related psychological issues.
She has also worked in Nuclear Safety and Security at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, where she ensured the mental well-being of nuclear operators to minimize risks. In 2019, Pani transitioned to Forensic Psychology, working with high-risk violent and sexual offenders at Ara Poutama / Department of Corrections.
She is currently the Acting Manager of the Hamilton South Psychologists Team and also works part-time in private practice. Pani is passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges, improve their well-being, and reach their full potential.
